Ted

Ted is looking for a more experienced dog owner who has large breed experience and is prepared to work with him. He needs a ground floor home with main door access, where he will be the only pet. He would like to have company for most of the day and would be best suited to a male owner and a home where he won’t have contact with children. Ted will need several visits before he can go home with a new owner.

Ted is a lovely big boy who loves meeting people and being fussed over. He has lots of personality and is very cuddly, but also very cheeky at times, so needs an owner who can manage this. He likes playing with toys, especially footballs, and likes to have a wee run around in our paddock. He enjoys his walks, and he gets on with other dogs when he is out, but he doesn’t want to share his home with another pet. He has shown some guarding behaviour in the past, so he does need an owner who has some knowledge of how to manage this. He has been more likely to show his naughtier side around women, so would be best suited to having a man be his main care giver.

Ted had surgery on his leg while staying with us, so his new owner must be financially able to provide any further necessary treatment, as he will not be covered by insurance for this issue. More information will be given to successful applicants.
