More about Niall
Niall is looking for an experienced owner who have had large dogs before and can work on his confidence. He will need to be kept company all day and would like his own private garden, so he has a space to call his own to stretch out his big legs. He is looking to be the only pet in an adult only home.
Niall is a real sweet boy who will need a patient, understanding owner to help him overcome his fear of new people. Things will need to be taken gradually with him, so he doesn’t become too overwhelmed, but he does want to please and does like a tasty biscuit or two which will help with his confidence building and making new friends. He can find it difficult being left on his own so he will need to be kept company until he learns it’s okay to spend time alone.
Once he has built that relationship with you, he is super affectionate and will happily make himself a lap dog despite his size! He is goofy, full of energy and loves to run around chasing after his toys. With the right introductions, Niall does make doggy friends who match his energy but he picks and chooses who his friends are so does need to be the only pet and will need to continue working on his social skills around new dogs.
