Ferry is looking for a very specific home with an expert owner who has the experience needed with demanding breeds. She requires an adult only household where there are no visiting children and where she will be the only pet. Her home must have access to a secure and private garden where she can do training throughout the day.

Ferry is an intelligent and energetic girl who is coming on each day during her time with us. As she matures, she is developing into a lovely young dog with a much better understanding of how to channel her enthusiasm and engage positively with those around her. It is important to remember that she will need daily appropriate outlets for the drive that comes naturally to her breed, though needs more than just a standard walk through a park. She is showing that with the right guidance, she can bring her owner the best of both worlds: a keen worker who thrives on stimulation, and a wonderful companion devoted to her people.

Ferry is eager to learn and enjoys having something to do. She thrives when given both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and her future owner will need to be committed to providing ongoing training and suitable activities to keep her fulfilled. When she becomes overly excited, she can still be a little mouthy, but she has made lovely progress in this area and particularly enjoys carrying her favourite toys, which helps manage her excitement.

She is unconditionally loyal to those she knows best and is very loving and affectionate. Although she can be wary of strangers initially, she has continued to grow in confidence during her time with us and, when given the opportunity to get to know people at her own pace, has shown she is more than capable of broadening her circle of friends.
