Roger is looking for a quiet home with an experienced dog owner who have had nervous dogs and are prepared to work on his socialisation. He will need company all day to begin with whilst he settles in. He is looking for an adult only home, where there are no visiting children and no other pets.

Little Roger is a nervous boy who takes time to figure out new people and environments so his new family will need to be prepared to meet him a few times and build a bond with him- he does love a tasty treat which helps win him over. He prefers things to be taken slowly with him and likes his own space so needs an understanding owner who will respect his boundaries and build his confidence at a pace he is comfortable with. He can feel anxious when at the vets so having a patient owner and an understanding vet who will help create positive experiences for him will be a huge bonus.

Roger is incredibly affectionate once he has built a relationship with you and is the biggest sweetheart. He is playful and likes to run around with a squeaky toy though is equally happy perching himself on your lap for lots of snuggles and kisses. With the right owners who are patient with him, he will bring unconditional loyalty and devotion.
