Beyond Our Walls: Our Strategy

Our philosophy 

We give our all to keep loving homes whole and keep pets where they belong – with their families. When that’s not possible, we take them in and love them as if they’re our own.  

We give every dog and cat the best level of care we can, from food and veterinary care to toys and training – all to get them ready for their future family.  

With open doors and open minds, we aim to break down the stigma people can face when they hit hard times. Because we believe there’s goodness inside every pet and person. 

What we do 

And how we do it 

We protect loving homes by distributing food to over 3500 pets from our Pet Food Banks each month.  

We provide vital resources such as leads, harnesses, grooming brushes and toys, as well as signposting to accessible support through regular Pet Care Clinics.  

And we host educational courses such as Dog Body Language and Dog First Aid to empower pet owners.  

We find loving homes by getting to know each animal’s personality, preferences and quirks, so we know what they need from their forever home.  

Our rehoming process is detailed and thorough because we want to make sure every animal has the best chance at a fresh start.  

We run a loving Home by providing all the veterinary care, enrichment, training, nourishment, love and affection that our dogs and cats need to get ready for their new homes.  

It costs a lot to keep our doors open and our kennels warm each day and we couldn’t do this without the hard work and dedication of our team, and the invaluable support of our donors and volunteers.
