Sage is looking for a home away from the hustle and bustle of city life with an active, experienced collie owner who will provide her with the stimulation she needs. She needs to be in an adult only home and would like company for most of the day preferably with access to a private garden.
Sassy Sage is a happy, friendly girl who likes to be kept on the go. She is incredibly clever who loves to learn so she can be bossy if her needs aren’t met- it adds to her character, but she does need an experienced owner who understand quirky collies in order to bring out the very best in her. She enjoys her walks to the beach where she can dig into the sand or running around the paddock chasing after her tennis ball and she thoroughly enjoys her enrichment sessions- particularly if chicken is involved!
She does enjoy a cuddle and is very affectionate and loving with her favourite people so it would be nice for someone to be home with her most of the time. Sage does lack in social skills around other dogs, but she is more than capable of making doggy friends and once she does know them, they become her best friend for life.
With the right owner who can accept Sage for who she is, she will undoubtedly make a brilliant companion.
