Casper is looking for an owner who have had dogs before and are committed to building his confidence. He will need to be kept company all day to begin with. He may be able to live with sensible high school aged children but is looking to be the only pet.

Casper is a sweet wee boy who can be incredibly shy and lacks confidence when it comes to meeting new people and put into new situations- dogs can also be scary and worrying for him. He needs an understanding owner who won’t overwhelm him and take things gradually at a pace he is comfortable with. He is easily startled by loud noises, or quick movements so will be best suited to a calm home where there isn’t too much going on whilst he adjusts.

When he has been given the time to figure you out, he becomes attached very quickly and is very much a velcro dog who seeks a lot of reassurance from his person. He is your typical lap dog and very affectionate so will no doubt be unconditionally loyal to his new family.

Casper’s coat will need to be groomed regularly to keep it in top condition. His new owner must be mindful of the extra financial cost this will bring.
