This role includes Compiling and distributing food orders to service users of the Home’s in-house pet food bank, while supporting the management of food bank stock, including manual handling and heavy lifting.

This role includes promoting the Home across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, engaging with the community to raise awareness of the services we provide and how to access them. Being a friendly and positive representative of the Home while fundraising and interacting with the public. Collecting information on community issues relating to pet ownership to report back to the Home, helping to identify community needs and opportunities to develop new services.

This role includes compiling and distributing pet food orders to external food banks across Central Scotland, often with another member of the volunteer team. Communicating with the Home’s food bank partners to coordinate deliveries and driving the Home’s van to complete deliveries, including loading and unloading supplies.
