Pickle is looking for a very special home with someone who has experience of owning a young deaf dog. He would benefit from having access to a secure garden where he can continue his toilet training and burn off some of his puppy energy. Pickle will need company for most of the day and may be able to live with older, dog-savvy children and other pets pending successful introductions.

Despite being born deaf, Pickle is a wonderfully happy and confident boy who never lets it hold him back. He seems completely and blissfully unaware that he is any different and certainly does not realise quite how loud he can be at times! As with any deaf dog, Pickle will require specialised training and management to help him navigate the world safely. He is therefore looking for a patient, committed owner who understands the additional challenges that can come with owning a deaf pet.

Pickle is everything you would expect from a young dog: cheeky, mischievous, energetic, and endlessly entertaining. There is no doubt he will make a wonderful companion, but any children in the home, or those he will regularly spend time with, should be old enough to understand his needs and know not to startle him when he is resting or focused elsewhere. He gets on well with other dogs and would be more than happy to live with one though can be quite pushy and demanding, so it will need to be a dog that will tolerate him and help him learn some better doggy etiquette.
