Nala is looking for a quiet home with an experienced terrier owner who have a good understanding of reactivity and the quirks her breed brings. She will require access to her own private garden so she has a safe space to enjoy the outdoors away from other dogs. Nala will need to be the only pet in an adult only home where there are no visiting children.

Nala may be small, but she certainly has a big personality. This busy little lady knows exactly what she likes and doesn't like and, with careful management of her interactions, her new owner can help her avoid unnecessary frustrations. She can be uncomfortable around unfamiliar people, both in and out of the home, particularly if they approach her personal space, so she is looking for a patient owner who will give her the time she needs to build trust and make friends at her own pace. Nala does not appreciate the company of other dogs, so her new owner will need to be prepared to walk her in quieter areas where she can enjoy her walks in peace while gradually working on her social skills.

With those she knows and trusts, Nala can be very loving though the quickest way to win her over is through play. Although little, she is packed with energy and absolutely loves her toys- she would happily spend all day playing if given the chance. She is incredibly clever who loves learning new things and putting her busy brain to good use, whether that's using her nose to sniff out treats, working for her food, or showing off her agility skills.

Nala does require a committed and understanding owner, but she has already shown through her training sessions that she has all the potential to make a fantastic companion. For someone willing to invest the time in her and accept her for who she is, she is sure to be a hugely rewarding companion.
