Chewy is looking for an experienced owner who have had large dogs before and are committed to continuing his basic training. He would benefit from having someone around for most of the day to begin with whilst he settles in. Chewy is looking for an adult-only home where will be the only pet.

Chewy is a big, lovable, and comical boy, who has absolutely no idea just how large he is! He loves a good bum scratch and won't hesitate to try and perch up on your lap for some affection. He can be a little wary of new people at first, so he needs a patient owner who will take introductions slowly with him. Once he has had the chance to get to know you, and with the help of a tasty treat, he soon warms up.

He enjoys playing with his toys from time to time but is far more interested in spending time with his people and will happily potter alongside you. He generally walks well on the lead, but as a strong, large dog, he can have moments when his enthusiasm gets the better of him. For this reason, he would be best suited to someone who is confident and experienced in handling larger breeds.

With the right owner, Chewy will make a wonderfully affectionate, entertaining, and devoted companion.
