Gus is looking for an owner who have ideally had frenchies before. He may be able to live with high school aged children and possibly another dog pending introductions.
Gus is a sweet, laid-back character who very much enjoys taking life at his own pace. He is a friendly boy who likes making friends and, while generally easy-going, he does have an excitable side and can occasionally get a little carried away when greeting people, which can lead to some mouthing and jumping up. He means no harm, but his new owner will need to continue working on his manners.
For the most part, Gus is content to potter around doing his own thing and isn't particularly needy, though he does enjoy spending time with his people and appreciates a fuss when it suits him. He is generally unbothered by other dogs and could potentially live with one, although this would very much depend on successful introductions and finding a canine companion whose personality matches his.
Sadly, like most frenchies, Gus has had to have veterinary treatment during his stay. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.
