Boris is looking for a quiet home with an experienced staffie owner who have had nervous dogs before so fully appreciate the time he will need to build his confidence. He would like access to a private garden, so he has a safe space to enjoy outdoors. He would like to be the only pet though could live with older, dog savvy teenagers.

Boris is a sweet but very shy boy who takes time to build trust with new people. The world can feel like a scary place for him at times, so he is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will let him move at his own pace and give him the time and space he needs to settle. When he is feeling overwhelmed, Boris can become a little overexcited and bouncy, so he will benefit from ongoing training to help him learn calmer ways of coping with situations he finds difficult. A tasty bit of cheese goes a long way in keeping his attention and helping him learn!

Once he does know you, his incredibly loyal and affectionate side flourishes. He is a real snuggle bug who enjoys being beside his favourite people. He is fun, playful and loves running around after a squeaky toy or enjoying some mental enrichment such as a tasty filled kong. Boris does appear to be more of a ladies’ man when it comes to meeting other dogs- he is a typical staffie though who can be enthusiastic in his interactions so any introductions to dogs will need to be done carefully.

With the right guidance, patience and understanding, Boris has all the makings of a wonderfully loving and devoted companion.
