Bear has been a popular boy! This means we are no longer accepting interest for him.

Bear is looking for a home where he will be kept company all day. A garden would be a wonderful bonus for him, giving him another space to explore and enjoy. He may be able to live with children and another dog, pending successful introductions.

Bear is the loveliest boy who very quickly stole the hearts of staff at the Home. He is friendly, playful, a pleasure to walk on lead and overall brings joy wherever he goes. Despite his age, he still has the zest for life of a youngster and is always keen to run after his tennis ball. His favourite place in the world is the beach, where he loves paddling in the water and sniffing out all the interesting smells. Bear does struggle being on his own but, as he is such a sociable boy, he would be delighted to tag along with his new family on all sorts of adventures.

Bear has made several doggy friends during his time at the Home, although his enthusiasm can sometimes lead to boisterous play. If he were to share his home with another dog, it would need to be one that enjoys a similar play style and can match his energy levels. After a day of fun and adventure, he is more than happy to curl up beside you on the sofa for a cuddle, making him the best of both worlds. The family lucky enough to welcome Bear into their lives will be gaining a truly special dog who has so much love to give.

Bear does have complex medical issues that will not be covered by insurance. As a result, he is looking for a committed and responsible family who understand the care he requires. More information about Bear's medical conditions will be discussed with successful applicants.
