April is looking for an experienced dog owner who ideally have had bully breeds before. She would like to be kept company all day whilst she settles in and access to her own private garden, so she has a safe space to call her own. She is looking to be the only pet in an adult only home where there are no visiting children.

April is a great girl who is looking for a kind, patient owner who will help her continue to grow her confidence. She takes a little time to get to know you, and while she is becoming braver every day, new people, particularly men, can still be scary for her. She needs an understanding owner who will allow her to take things at a pace she is comfortable with, without overwhelming her. The way to April's heart is definitely through food. She loves her treats, especially peanut butter, and she is a quick learner. Her love of snacks and eagerness to learn will not only help her make new friends but also work on her basic training.

Once April has formed a bond with you, her goofy side truly flourishes. She is playful, and endlessly entertaining, which is sure to make her owner smile. She loves rope toys and squeaky toys and is not shy about letting you know when it's playtime. She adores her favourite people and won’t think twice about getting on your lap for a cuddle despite her size.

During her stay, April was assessed by an independent breed assessor and was confirmed not to be a banned breed. She is a special girl who, with patience, and understanding, will reward her new owner with laughter and unconditional love.
