Alice is looking for a quiet home away from the hustle and bustle of the city with an experienced owner, ideally someone who has owned German Shepherds before so can fully appreciate the breed's traits. She will require company for most of the day and a dedicated owner who has the time and commitment she desperately needs. Alice may be able to live with older, dog-savvy teenagers who are confident around large, boisterous dogs.

Alice is your typical happy, friendly youngster who has sadly lacked consistency in her short life so far. She is a very clever girl and loves to learn, but as she moves through adolescence, she has started testing boundaries and can become vocal when she feels frustrated. She is looking for a patient and committed owner who is willing to continue her training and help her mature into a well-rounded adult dog.

As a growing adolescent, Alice should not be over-exercised while her joints are still developing, however, she will enjoy a more active lifestyle as she reaches adulthood. Like many young German Shepherds, Alice can become easily overstimulated and sometimes struggles to switch off. It is important that her new owner understands how important downtime, as well as mental enrichment will be for her. She has a real love of food and tennis balls, making enrichment activities both enjoyable and effective ways to keep her mind occupied and help tire her out.

Alice has undergone veterinary investigations relating to her hips. Further information regarding this will be discussed with successful applicants.
