Simba is looking for an experienced owner who is used to a small dog with a spicy personality. He needs a quiet home where he will be the only pet though may be able to live with older teenagers who can respect his boundaries.

Simba may be a smaller dog, but he is packed with a sassy personality. His good looks do attract people, but he can be nervous around those he doesn’t know so needs an understanding owner who won’t put him into any unnecessary situations that make him feel uncomfortable. He knows what he does and doesn’t like and will let you know if he isn’t very impressed with something. He does find it a challenge when being groomed or seeing the vet so he requires someone who will work on his confidence in this area and continue to build positive associations with him, so he doesn’t find it so scary.

He is very sweet around the people that he knows and trusts and is partial to a tummy tickle if the mood takes him. Despite being older he is still very playful, enjoys any enrichment activities that involve something tasty and will happily tag along for a leisurely stroll where can take in all the interesting smells.

Simba does have medical issues. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.
