Rosie is looking for a quiet home with an experienced owner who have had terriers before and can work on her confidence building. She would like access to a private garden, so she has a safe space she can enjoy away from other dogs. She is looking to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Rosie is a lovely wee girl who takes a little time getting to know you. She is wary of new people, particularly men, so requires an understanding owner who will work on her confidence building at a pace she is comfortable with. She would be best suited to an owner who have had nervous dogs before so can they can fully appreciate the time a dog like her needs. Sadly, due to a past experience out with her control, Rosie is reactive towards other dogs so will need to be taken to quieter areas for her walks where she is unlikely to bump into many other dogs.

Where Rosie lacks in confidence, she makes up for with the love she has to offer once she realises you are her friend. She is very affectionate and likes to snuggle up beside you on the couch for some tummy tickles or cosying up in a comfy bed where she will usually be burrowed underneath her blankets for a much-needed snooze. She loves to play with her toys or sniff out every interesting smell that she passes so she may really enjoy doing scent work- by helping encourage her to express her natural behaviours, this will really help with her confidence building around the areas she finds challenging. Rosie has a lot of potential to make a rewarding companion in the right home.
