Haggis has now been matched to several applicants so we are no longer accepting interest for him.

Haggis is looking for an experienced, active collie owner who will provide him with the stimulation he needs. He needs a home away from the city centre where he will have access to his own garden. He can live with teenagers and possibly another dog pending successful introductions.

Haggis is an affectionate boy who adores meeting people and making new friends. He does get over excited easily and does need to learn to keep his feet on the ground when saying hello but is easily trainable with the help of a tennis ball or tasty treat so teaching him new tricks as well as manners will be a lot of fun! He is young, bouncy and full of energy so does need an owner who can keep up with him and provide him with plenty of activities to do.

Haggis’ herding instinct is strong, so he will require a home in a quiet area so he doesn’t become overwhelmed by his environment, however, he would hugely benefit by putting his natural instincts to use appropriately and would love an activity such as Sheep ball. He is the ideal project dog for someone who have the time for him.

Haggis has received some medical treatment whilst at the Home. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.
