Benji is looking for an experienced owner who know and love the shepherd breed. He would like to live in a quiet area, away from the city centre and would prefer to have a garden, so he has another outdoor space to enjoy. He needs to be the only pet in an adult only home.
Benji is a happy, playful boy who is full of personality and is quite the character when it comes to trying to carry as many toys as he can in one go! He is a dog who values a trusting relationship with his person so doesn’t give his heart away to everyone immediately but this makes him all the more special. He does know what he does and doesn’t like so needs someone who understands and respects his boundaries but he is a clever, capable dog who hugely benefits from clear guidance.
Once that relationship is there, however, he is incredibly loyal, attentive and eager to please. He is very energetic and thoroughly enjoys his walks whether it be to the nature reserve or down to the beach where he can dip his paws into the water. He is funny energetic, goofy and has the potential to be an extraordinary companion- the kind of dog who will look at you like you are his whole world.
He is, by far, my favourite resident at the Home. He is lovable, cuddly and tries his hardest to please you.
