Niall is looking for an experienced owner who have had large dogs before and can work on his confidence. He will need to be kept company all day and would like his own private garden, so he has a space to call his own to stretch out his big legs. He is looking to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Niall is a real sweet boy who will need a patient, understanding owner to help him overcome his fear of new people. Things will need to be taken gradually with him, so he doesn’t become too overwhelmed, but he does want to please and does like a tasty treat which will help with his confidence building and making new friends. Given how worried he is around unfamiliar people, he cannot be placed in a home where there are children, including visiting. Niall is picky with any dogs he wants to class as his friends so does need to be the only pet in the home and continue his social skills around new dogs.

Once he has built that relationship with you, he is super affectionate and will happily make himself a lap dog despite his size! He is goofy, full of energy and loves to run around chasing after his toys. He will do anything for a biscuit and has learnt loads of cool tricks during his stay at the Home so is a fantastic training opportunity for someone.
