Liquorice is looking for an experienced owner who have had nervous cats before. He needs a quiet home with someone who can give him the extra help to settle in. He wants to be the only pet in an adult only home where there are no visiting children.
Liquorice is a very worried boy who takes time to trust new people. He will let you know if he isn’t happy with something so his new owner will need to be patient with him and provide him with plenty of hiding spaces so he can take himself away when he feels overwhelmed. He needs an understanding, experienced owner who have the time he will need to adjust to his new surroundings at his pace. Given how nervous he is, he will be suited as an indoor cat.
In the time he has spent at the Home, he has let his guard down with some members of our team, so he does have the potential to make a lovely companion. We are sure that with the right person, this side of him will continue to shine the more he feels at home.
Liquorice has had some medical treatment. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.
