Alex has now been matched to several applicants so we are no longer accepting new interest for him.

Alex is looking for an experienced owner who are committed to working with him. He would prefer access to a garden so he has another space to burn off energy and will need company all day until he has settled into a well-established routine. Alex could live with teenagers but would like to be the only pet in his new home.

Alex is a cheeky, enthusiastic ball of energy who will certainly keep his new family on their toes! He can come across as a bit shy of new people to begin with but is quick to come around if given the time to figure you out. Alex has not had much socialisation or exposure to new environments or situations and can become vocal when he feels frustrated or uncertain, so he requires a sensible owner who understand adolescent dogs and are prepared to invest the time and effort into his ongoing training.

As a young dog who is still growing, he shouldn’t be overexercised but will require plenty of mental enrichment and brain games so he doesn’t become bored. He loves to use his nose so encouraging games that involve scent work where he can seek for his favourite tennis ball or treats would bring a lot of joy for him. With someone who can offer him the right guidance and consistency, Alex has the potential to mature into a well-rounded adult dog and wonderful companion.
