Layla is looking for an owner who have preferably had terriers before and can keep her company for most of the day whilst she settles in. She is looking to be the only pet but could live with older, dog savvy teenagers.
Layla is a lovely wee girl who needs a little time getting to know you so may require a few visits until she feels comfortable going home. She is shy of new people to begin with but, with time and patience, does come around- especially if you have a biscuit for her. Once she knows you a bit better, her loving and playful side shines and she is incredibly loyal to those she knows best. She adores a snuggle with her favourite people up on the couch or on your lap though when she has formed that bond, it can be hard for her to be away from you so she needs an understanding owner who can work on building up her leaving hours gradually.
Layla can make doggy friends with the right introductions and may be happy having friends out and about but as she is not keen on sharing her things, she would have to be the only pet in the home.
Our vet has discovered that Layla has a luxating patella. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.
