Mac is looking for an owner who have, ideally, had collies before. He may be able to live with dog savvy high school aged children who understand to give him his space if he wants it.
Mac is a lovely boy who has a lot of love to give once he has gotten to know you though he does think he can fit on your lap! He will give his affection on his terms so he needs a family who understand that he will be quite happy to take himself away once he has had enough. He is a cheeky boy at times and knows when he wants something so is sure to be a charming addition in his new home.
He may be slightly older, but it certainly does not slow him down in any way- he loves going for walks, especially down to the beach where he can splash into the waves or he will happily entertain himself with a squeaky toy. Mac can be picky with his doggy friends and doesn’t enjoy dogs that get in his face but he is capable of making friends with the correct introductions.
