Bailey is looking for an owner who have preferably had beagles before so can fully appreciate the quirks this breed can have. He will require company all day and may be able to live with older children.

Bailey is the ultimate dude who although can be a bit shy to begin with, quickly comes round once he feels comfortable and begins to show his fun loving, affectionate side. Once he trusts you, he’s a lovely companion who enjoys being around his people, so much so that he can find it difficult being on his own so he requires an owner who will be patient with him and work on gradually building up his leaving hours at a pace he is comfortable with. He is quite happy and content doing his own thing if he knows he has company so he would probably be a nice companion for some who works from home. He will happily plod along for his walks but is also playful and likes a good run around with his toys.

Typical to his breed, he does have a mind of his own, loves using his nose and will not hesitate to voice his approval or disapproval to something so he would be best suited to someone who have had beagles before and love them for their funny personality. Bailey is generally okay with most dogs and can walk alongside them though much prefers doing his own thing.
