Help beautiful Bear find a home in time for Christmas.
Anita, his kennel mum tells us that he ‘loves lying beside you and playing with one of his many toys’. Bear is ready to find his forever home and will make the most loving companion for the right owner.
Bear first came to us as an anxious and underweight stray in 2023.
He made a lot of progress, doing well in his training and his health improved with medical baths and a nutritious diet. He was rehomed but sadly later returned to us when his owner could no longer cope with his care.
Bear is a big softie who is sometimes misunderstood because of the way he looks.
He’s an American Bulldog who’s been independently assessed and declared officially not a banned breed.
Eight-year-old Bear is ‘the biggest sook ever and absolutely loves human contact. He’ll always roll about for belly scratches.’
He has a big, comfy bed in his kennel and he just loves it when you cuddle up in there beside him.
Due to a past experience, Bear can sometimes get a little anxious and overwhelmed on walks, so he needs someone who’s patient and able to help him work on his confidence.
Bear is an older gentleman with plenty of love, energy and playtime left to give.
He loves soft toys and often carries his favourite one around in his mouth. He also loves pottering around the paddock to have a good sniff and playing with enrichment toys like a good snuffle mat.
His biggest wish is to find a loving home in time for the holidays. Could you be the person for Bear?
