Community Fundraiser

Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)
Salary: £25,000
Closing date: Midnight, Sunday 17 November 2019
Interview date: Friday 22 November 2019

Are you an experienced Fundraiser with a passion for building relationships and raising funds in your local community? Do you have a knack for identifying opportunities and maximising support? If so we need you!

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen in the fundraising team at Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home to join us as Community Fundraiser. Covering Edinburgh and the Lothians you will be responsible for generating support for the Home through volunteering, community events, building relationships with individuals, local business, groups and schools as well as growing our Companion and kennel/cat pen sponsorship programmes within your patch.

This is an incredibly busy role so we are looking for someone with strong organisational skills who can prioritise and build volunteer support to help them maximise opportunity in their area. To succeed, you will need to be a real people person with a passion for animal welfare.

Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home is one of Scotland’s oldest and most loved animal welfare organisations. Established in 1883, every year we rescue, reunite and rehome hundreds of lost, stray and abandoned dogs and cats in Edinburgh, the Lothians and beyond.

To apply please download the job description and application form below and send to recruitment@edch.org.uk. For an informal chat about this role you can call Gillian Graham on 0131 669 5331.
