Fundraising Database Administrator

Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
Hours: Part time, 18 hours per week, over three days
Contract: Permanent

Are you an experienced administrator with strong database experience and a love for all things data?

Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home are looking for a part time Fundraising Database Administrator to work with the fundraising, communications and finance department to support with the smooth running of administrative processes for donations, events, campaigns and donor communications.

We are looking for someone who prides themselves on their accuracy, attention to detail and knack for being able to oversee the day to day management of a CRM system or database. We need a team player who can support a wide variety of projects, liaising with different team members throughout the working day.

Supporter Care Administrator

Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home are looking for a part time Supporter Care Administrator to work with the fundraising team to ensure top class customer service to our supporters and donors, ensuring an efficient and smooth back of house process to record and thank donations.

We are looking for someone who can work as a team player to provide administrative support around our fundraising events, fundraising products and support with income generation through the management of our collection can programme in the community.

In 2019 Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home became a living wage employer, Scotland’s first Animal Welfare organisation to take this prestigious title. The Living Wage commitment will see everyone working at Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, regardless of whether they are direct employees or third-party contracted staff, receive a minimum hourly wage of £9.00. This rate is significantly higher than the statutory minimum for over 25s of £8.21 per hour.

Since joining the scheme the Home has picked up Best Newcomer at the 2019 Living Wage Awards, recognising its commitment to its staff  and their understanding that happy people mean happy animals.
