Super Cooper is ready to go home

You may remember Cooper, the adorable Beagle-Hound cross who helped Mona build her confidence while she was with us. Super Cooper has been a fantastic dog-friend to many of our animals and now he’s ready to find his own home.
Cooper and Mona

Cooper is a one-year-old Beagle cross who came to us in May last year when his owners were no longer able to look after him. He has a heart of gold, and he’s been an incredible support to some of our more anxious pups, including Mona, who’s now in a happy home.

Cooper was rehomed earlier this year but sadly it didn’t work out and he’s once again searching for his forever home.

He loves playing with other dogs and has made some great dog-friends during his time with us, but Cooper has a very boisterous personality and doesn’t always know when to stop. This means that he would do best in a home where he’s the only pet.

Cooper loves scent work and using his nose.

As a Beagle-Hound cross, Cooper sniffs out every interesting smell that comes by him. He would love to find an owner who would enjoy trying training activities like scent work or man-trailing with him.

He’s a smart boy who needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation, so he’s looking for an active person who has previous experience with hounds. It’s well known that this breed can have a stubborn streak, and Cooper is no different, but if anything, this would make him an even more rewarding pet with someone just as stubborn or committed to getting the best out of him.

Cooper is a super friendly, cheeky and loveable goofball who brings joy to everyone he meets.

He’s just full of character and has been an invaluable support to our dog trainers as they’ve worked with more nervous pups.

There is never a dull moment with this fun-loving pup, and he will make a fantastic companion for someone who’s patient and looking forward to continuing his training.

Could Cooper be the dog for you?
