Open Day 2023 was a scorching success!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along for a sunny afternoon of fun and games at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home Open Day 2023 and to the volunteers who helped make it happen!

We were thrilled to welcome hundreds of friends, old and new, to enjoy market stalls, face-painting, educational talks and delicious food and drinks from Pizza Geeks and Wee Green Events.

Plenty of pups tried their paws in one of our competitions or in the famous Temptation Alley and our team were delighted to be reunited with many former doggy residents.

We can’t put into words how much the generous and continual support of the community means to us. We simply couldn’t do what we do without you all!

Despite being a free event, everyone’s kindness helped to raise £4500 in vital support towards the care and protection of dogs and cats in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

We hope you all had as much fun as we did! We can’t wait to see you next year.
