Mighty Moose takes on the Kiltwalk

Moose came to us in 2019 when her previous owners were no longer able to look after her. She was a confident and bubbly wee girl who was full of so much energy despite her age.

After 137 days in our care, she was rehomed to Angelika and Matthew who just love her to bits. This year, they are completing both the Edinburgh and the Glasgow Kiltwalk challenges together to raise money for Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.

Angelika said ‘The Kiltwalk is a great experience. It’s a wonderful day out and a great atmosphere’

She added: ‘We were supported in an amazing way by the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home Facebook group. Fellow adopters were unbelievably generous when sponsoring us (mostly Mighty Moose!). They love their pets and appreciate what you do.’

Moose, Angelika and Matthew have already completed the Glasgow Kiltwalk, raising a fantastic £533 for the dogs and cats who we help. They’re looking forward to smashing the Edinburgh Challenge in September!
