Community Day 2024: Thank you!

Last Sunday, we celebrated 140 years of Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home alongside over 700 of our supporters and almost as many of their loveable pups!

From fabulous face-painting, to dog competitions like ‘Best Sausage Catch’ and ‘Handsomest Boy’, as well as incredible food vendors and stallholders, kid’s crafts and more – it was a jam-packed, fun-filled day!

We even had a doggy birthday cake to celebrate the occasion, which our puppy visitors very much enjoyed.

It was fantastic to welcome old friends and new and we’re so grateful to everyone who donated. Your generous support raised an amazing £4000, enough to keep 40 dogs cosy in their kennels all winter, and 1,422 meals for dogs and cats who use our Pet Food Banks.

We had a blast, and we hope you did too!
