Charity gift ideas: Give the gift of Love Without Limits this Christmas

Send a donation in lieu of Christmas cards 

This is quickly becoming a popular way to show the people you love where your support is going!  

For a donation of between £1-£5, we’ll share a simple e-card which you can forward to your loved ones to show that you have donated in lieu of sending a Christmas card this year. 

Of course, you could still choose to send a card and print off our little note to go inside for that special touch! 

Host a pet food drive 

Get the gang together and spread some holiday cheer by hosting a food drive!  

Our pet food banks provide vital support to families all year round, and this support is especially needed during the holidays. Many of our pet food bank attendees tell us that they would struggle to keep their pets without this help.  

Help us make sure no one has to go without this Christmas with a festive food drive. You could even keep spirits high with a raffle or other fun activities!  

Remember that donations of toys and treats are especially gratefully recieved at this time of year! 

Make an in-memory donation 

This time of year is full of lights and laughter, it’s also a time when we remember loved ones who have passed. Some people choose to honour their memory by giving a gift in their memory, to a cause which was close to their heart.  

At the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, we’re grateful for every donation and we’re always especially touched by those who choose to remember their loved ones with a gift.

This truly is the gift that keeps on giving!  

By sponsoring a cat pen or a kennel, you can help us care for the dogs and cats who are getting ready to find their forever homes.  

Your sponsorship comes with a plaque that adorns our lovely sponsor wall, so your loved one can visit us and see the difference your gift has made.
