An update to our Governance team

Following our AGM at the end of May, we have some exciting updates to our Board of Governance.

After four years as a Trustee, including serving as Co-Chair of the Board, Matt Smith, is stepping down from his role. During his time with us, the Home has helped find loving new homes for around 950 dogs and cats, while our community support programmes have provided close to 2 million meals for pets through emergency food packs and food banks.

Through the years, he has brought thoughtful leadership, commitment to animal welfare, and a deep appreciation for the role the Home plays in our community.

Thank you, Matt, for everything you have done for the Home. We wish you all the very best for whatever comes next!

At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Rebs Curtis-Moss as our new Co-Chair of the Board. Rebs brings extensive experience working with charities across Scotland and the UK in communications, digital engagement and fundraising.

Their passion for the charity sector, strategic insight and commitment to community will greatly help guide the Home in the years ahead.

Please join us in thanking Matt for his outstanding contribution and congratulating Rebs on their new role!
