A fond farewell to our COO, Jamie Simpson
After five fantastic years of service, we’re sad to say goodbye to our COO, Jamie Simpson, as he takes his new role as CEO of Dog Aid Scotland.
Jamie has been a vital part of some big changes at the Home. He was instrumental in the expansion of our pet food banks which are now accessible from over 80 locations across East and Central Scotland. Jamie had a significant role in the creation and roll out of our dog first aid, dog body language and cat first aid courses as well as our new people strategy: ‘Happy people = happy animals’.
Jamie says; ‘The Home is an incredibly special place, filled with laughter, fun and joy, with so many truly brilliant people. Seeing dogs and cats come into us and get so much love and care from the team then going on to their forever homes has been simply amazing. I have loved my time at the Home and I’m proud of my time here’.
