Lewie

Lewie is looking for an experienced and active owner who have had collies before. He would prefer easy access to a garden where he can burn off some of his energy and his home needs to be away from the city centre. He needs to be the only pet but may be able to live with teenagers.

Lewie is a friendly, independent lad who likes to be kept busy. He is a typical collie who is very clever, and he enjoys putting his mind to use when playing enrichment games that involve peanut butter. He would love an active family who will provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy. Lewie does have some collie quirks and requires a home away from the city centre, so he doesn’t become too overwhelmed by his environment. He doesn’t mind walking with other dogs, but he hasn’t shown much interest in them and would much rather do his own thing.

Lewie’s favourite past time is chasing after his tennis ball along the beach or in woodland walks but he may really enjoy an activity such as flyball to help burn some of his energy. After a fun filled day, he loves nothing more than to cosy up in a big comfy bed. For the right owner, he will make a fantastic companion.

Lewie has had some treatment for his skin whilst in our care. More information will be discussed with successful applicants.
