Betty

Betty is looking for an owner who have experience with nervous dogs and where there won’t be any children. She would like access to her own private garden to work on her housetraining and so she can enjoy time outside if she feels too overwhelmed to go for a walk. Betty doesn’t need to live with another dog but if she does, it will have to be a small male dog.
Betty is an incredibly sweet but nervous girl who hasn’t experienced much of the world. She is frightened of anything new and becomes easily overwhelmed by her environment or new people but does like a tasty biscuit which is a nice way for her to make new friends. She requires a very patient and understanding owner who can take things gradually with her and slowly build her confidence. Betty’s new owners will need to understand that she may not want to go for a walk at times, but she does have playful side so will need easy access to a secure garden for her to play in and work on her housetraining. She does not enjoy the company of female dogs but, although not essential, she may be able to live with a small male dog pending a successful introduction.
Where Betty lacks in confidence, she makes up for with affection and love with people she knows and she will be a very rewarding companion for a patient owner.
