Benji

Benji has now had several matches so we are unable to accept new interest for him.

Benji is looking for an owner who have had nervous dogs before. He requires access to his own private garden so he can still enjoy time outside in a safe area and work on his housetraining. Benji is looking for an adult only home but may be able to live with other pets.

Benji is a sweet but very nervous boy who will require his new family to meet him several times before he can go home. He doesn’t seem to have experienced much of the outside world and can become overwhelmed at times so he requires very patient and understanding owners who will take things at his pace. Benji loves enrichment sessions that involve food which will be a good motivator when trying to build his confidence. With those he knows, Benji is loving and enjoys being made a fuss of. He isn’t friends with every dog he meets but he does have the potential to live with another dog, possibly a female, so he has a confident buddy he can seek reassurance from.

Benji hasn’t had an easy time prior coming to the Home. He will require a lot of time and commitment before he begins to feel settled but is sure to make a lovely companion for the right owner.
