Violet

Violet is looking for an active and experienced owner who has a good knowledge of working breeds. She needs a home in a quiet, more rural location away from the city, and requires a home with a secure and private garden where she can decompress when needed. She may suit living with dog savvy older teenagers.

Violet is a very sweet and affectionate girl when she’s around people that she knows, but she can be wary of strangers, and needs an understanding owner who can help her feel comfortable when around new people. She is very clever and has high energy levels, so will need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation to keep her satisfied. She loves playing with toys, especially soft toys, and she loves being around people she trusts, so would love a home where she can have lots company and attention every day. She has shown a lot of interest in scent work so would love an owner who would be interested in doing more of this with her. Violet gets worried when around other dogs, but has made some friends while she has been staying with us, so she could potentially live with a dog she likes if introductions go well. She can be reactive when she is feeling overwhelmed, so she needs an experienced owner who can work on her training and socialisation to help her reach her full potential.
