Cost of Living Crisis

With your help, we can support the pets and their people who are unfortunately experiencing pet poverty. We know that, often, behind every pet in crisis is a person in crisis. We don’t judge anyone or their circumstances here. We know that, with the rise in the cost of living and other changes, many people are struggling to make ends meet. We don’t think a change in financial circumstances should mean you can’t keep a pet. In fact, in these situations, pets are often a much-needed source of comfort, stability, and security.

Every year we care for hundreds of dogs and cats, many from loving homes and families. We know that social issues such as financial difficulties, illness, homelessness, and domestic abuse can all affect your ability to give your pet the things they need. Our goal here is to empower owners to keep their pets where they belong – at home.

We give our all to keep loving homes whole and keep pets where they belong – with their families. With open doors and open minds, we aim to break down the stigma people can face when they hit hard times. Because we believe there’s goodness inside every pet and person.

If you need help caring for your pet, feeding them, or providing them with anything else they need, you can call our dedicated team on 0131 669 5331, or find out more about our Pet Food Banks by clicking on the link below.
