Hugo

Hugo is looking for an active owner who has had a dog in the past and is willing to continue his basic training. He would like someone to keep him company for some of the day whilst he settles in. Hugo may suit a home with go savvy high school aged children but would like to be the only pet in his new home.

Hugo is a happy, affectionate and loving boy with those he knows, but can be wary of new people, and takes a little time to make new friends. He needs an understanding owner who will help him continue to build his confidence particularly in new situations. He is an energetic lad who likes to be kept busy so would like an active owner who is keen to take him hill walking or look into agility training. He thoroughly enjoys all types of food, so he will also enjoy mental enrichment games which result in a tasty reward. He loves running in the paddock chasing after his toys, and is also partial to a swim in the sea. Hugo does like social walks with his doggy friends and can have dog walking buddies but he does not want to share his new home with a dog. He is going to make a fantastic companion and is sure to bring a lot of joy to his new owner’s life.
