The Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home Open Day Returns!
You’re invited to the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home on the 3rd September from 12pm-4pm! This is a totally free, family-and-dog-friendly event which promises to be a lively afternoon of activities and entertainment.
There will be shop stalls hosted by local businesses and craftspeople and refreshments available from the Pizza Geeks and Wee Green Events.
You can also look forward to:
- Dog competitions such as Best OAP, Waggiest Tail and Handsomest Boy
- Dog First Aid taster sessions
- Animal care tips and advice from expert animal trainers
- The fun and chaotic challenge that is Temptation Alley
- A pet photobooth
- And lots more!
Our CEO, Lindsay Fyffe-Jardine says, ‘We can’t wait to open our gates and once more welcome our community into the Home for what will be another fun filled day. The Open Day is always one of our favourite events in the year as it’s a chance to showcase what we’re doing, have some fun with people and dogs alike, while saying thank you for all the support we receive. I really hope to see as many of you for this fun family day out.’
