Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home is the city’s oldest animal welfare charity, working with the Council and Police across Edinburgh and the Lothians. The Home receives no government or statutory funding, so relies on the generous support of volunteers and donors to carry out its vital work in rescuing, reuniting and rehoming Scotland’s stray and unwanted dogs and cats.
The Home’s operational activities are supported by volunteers who provide administrative services to the organisation, which are essential to continue caring for the hundreds of lost, stray and abandoned animals that come through our doors each year.
