Since opening our doors in 1883, Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home has worked closely with businesses across Edinburgh and the Lothians to deliver engaging and rewarding fundraising and partnership experiences. Whether you are interested in organising a one-off fundraising event, or establishing a long-term partnership, we will offer your team a rewarding supporter experience and ensure that all funds raised through these initiatives are channelled where they are needed most to support the care of rescue dogs and cats.
The support received through charity parterships are invaluable to the Home’s work, allowing us to consistently go above and beyond in the care of our rescue pets. We are determined to provide all our partners with the best possible experience too, ensuring that value is felt at all levels of the business.
Much-valued past and present charity partnerships at Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home include Edinburgh Trams, M&S Princes Street, Brewdog, and more. Visit our Partnerships page to read more.

There are so many fun ways to support Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home in the workplace, from event nights to dress-down days, our Fundraising team are here to get your team engaged and motivated. Visit our host your own event page for more ideas, or contact a member of our team today.
Donating a regular gift through your payslip is a fuss-free and tax effective way to support the animals in our care. You can give as little or as much as you like with no cost to your employer.
Pledge £5 from your gross salary each month and the actual cost to you is only £4. You don’t pay tax on your gift and the taxman pays the difference. If you pay tax at a higher rate, your pledge of £5 will only cost you £3.
For further information about how to set up Payroll Giving for employees, visit the HM Revenue & Customs website.
In the Dog House is an annual event that sees Edinburgh’s business leaders and personalities locked in our kennels for the day, armed only with a mobile phone and a laptop, to raise funds for the Home and compete for the title of Top Dog. Participants have to use their entrepreneurial know-how and network of contacts to earn treats throughout the day and, ultimately, be released from their kennel. To register your interest in this event, please contact our Fundraising team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0131 669 5331.

We are so grateful to the generous public who donate gifts, such as food, treats, blankets and toys, to ensure dogs and cats at the Home have everything they need during their stay with us. Get in touch with us to find out how you can set up a donation station in your workplace to support the animals in our care?
Our collection cans are a huge part of the work we do to raise funds throughout the year. These discrete containers can be left by tills or near display stands to encourage customers to donate spare change from their purchases to the Home.
We operate a drop-off and collection service for our donation boxes, meaning that you can support Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home with no added fuss.
You can help us find dogs and cats their forever homes by becoming a Rehoming Partner and displaying one of our special rehoming boards in your business for staff and customers. We will provide you with weekly updates and profiles of our animals available for rehoming along with our Pet of the Week. Who knows, your business might just find a pet it’s forever home!
