Pawthereum

Pawthereum is a community-run charity cryptocurrency project focussed on supporting animal welfare organisations and being a digital advocate for animals in need. Pawthereum gifted the Home 26 Ethereum, (approximately $118,000USD or £87,000GBP) in order to fund our Pet Foodbank service, Paws Pantry, for the whole of 2022.

Club Backdrops create professional portable backdrops for food photography, product photography, portraiture, flat lay, fashion, video & social. They have teamed up with the Home to donate 10p per backdrop unit sold.

Fetch Eyewear UK has chosen the Home as one of their animal charities to donate £2 from every pair of glasses sold. They are very proud to be able to carry on the work of their US partners who have been supporting the The Pixie Project for over 5 Years and have helped hundreds of animals back to health and into a new home.

Abercorn Vets

In 2019 Abercorn Vets, in partnership with Braid Vets, became Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home's veterinary providers. Like the Home they have a long history of serving the local community, having been established over 50 years ago with their first surgery in Portobello. Their close proximity to the Home means our animals will have quick and easy access to exceptional medical care. Abercorn have since opened other surgeries located in Raeburn Place, Stockbridge and Gilmerton.

Braid Vets

Braid Vets are a much-respected practice within the Edinburgh community, and along with Abercorn Vets make up the Home's veterinary partners. Braid Veterinary Hospital was the first veterinary hospital to be registered in Scotland by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and has particular interests in the fields of veterinary surgery, dentistry, internal medicine and behavioural problems.

Jollyes Pet Store

We are proud to be partnered with Jollyes Pet Store at Hermiston Gait Retail Park, who support us through donations, setting up a donation station in their store and through organising fundraising events. In their store they have a Community Pet Clinic which offers reduced price vaccinations, you can make an appointment by booking with them directly on their website.

Forrit

Forrit are a technology company who have supported Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home for a number of years. Through fundraising activities, volunteering, attending fundraisers and offering us use of their office space. Forrit help ensure the Home can continue its vital work. Founder and CEO Peter Proud was on the Board of Trustees offering his expertise from 2018-2021.

Over the last few years our pals at Heehaw have created some brilliant films for us - they were even nominated for the Partnership of the Year award at Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce's Business Awards! It has been a pleasure to work with this award winning team and we look forward to more exciting video projects with them in the year ahead.
