Support Our Pet Food Bank

When a crisis strikes, whether it’s COVID-19, lockdowns, or the spiralling cost of living, it’s the most vulnerable who are hit first, and hit hardest. That’s true of people, and also their pets.

As the cost of living continues to spike, many pet owners are being pushed into pet poverty. We now desperately need more donations to our ‘Paws Pantry’ Pet foodbank in order to help them.

How Can You Help?

Donate Through Amazon

  • Select pet food and other essentials from our Amazon Wishlist
  • At checkout, under ‘Other Addresses’ select “Food Bank’s Gift Registry Address”
  • We’ll receive your kind donation.

Donate In Person

You can drop off pet food at our office at 26 Seafield Road East, Edinburgh, EH15 1EH. Please note that we are unable to accept opened pet food. Call us on 0131 669 5331 for more information.

You can drop off pet food at one of our ‘Donation Stations’ found across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Organise A Pet Food Drive

  • Tap in to the power of your network to multiply your impact.
  • Tell friends and family you’re seeking donations to our foodbank and pass them the information they need to donate.
  • Organise a pet food drive at your office. Share our Amazon Wishlist with colleagues and ask them to donate what they can.

Companies and Pet Food Suppliers

We’re seeking the support of companies and pet food suppliers. All donations of pet food are welcomed and hugely appreciated. Commitments to making regular donations to our foodbank service are particularly helpful. If your company could help with a one-off or regular donation, please contact Katie Kennedy via

Tackling Pet Poverty

Our pioneering ‘Paws Pantry’ services supplies vulnerable members of the community with pet food, treats, toys and other animal essentials. This can be enough to keep a precious pet in loving home.

Paws Pantry works alongside 52 foodbanks in Edinburgh and Lothians area, and we’re now feeding more than 100 cats and dogs each day.

Our foodbank service is a major undertaking. We distribute more than 3 tonnes of pet food each month. We can help pets in needs provided we have enough pet food.
However, as the cost of living crisis deepens the demand has grown, and now we’re desperately short on supplies.
