Zander

Zander has already been very popular so we cannot accept any new interest for him.

Zander is looking for an owner who can help him work on some confidence building skills. He will need to be kept company all day initially before building up his leaving hours. Zander might be able to live with another dog and possibly children.

Zander is a real sweetheart of a boy who is a proper snuggle bug and loves being fussed over from anyone who will give him attention. He can be a little unsure in new surroundings and lack in confidence at times so will require an understanding owner who can show him that there is nothing to worry about. He enjoys his food and his enrichment sessions which will help him gain some confidence. He is playful and likes running after his toys or showing you some of the tricks he knows such as paw. He has made doggy friends at the Home and enjoys going for walks with them so he may be able to live with another dog if introductions go well.

Zander might look like he could be a bull in a china shop, and although he can be excitable at times, he is really a gentle soul who will make a wonderful family pet.
