Tess

Tess is looking for an experienced and active owner who understand nervous dogs. She will need access to her own secure, private garden so she can still enjoy the outdoors safely. Tess requires an adult only home and needs to live with a confident dog.

Tess is very nervous around people she does not know, and will need to meet her new family a few times before she feels comfortable enough to go home with them. She is a lot more relaxed and is more willing to interact with new people when with another dog, so she will need to live with a calm, sociable, and confident dog who can help her feel at more at ease.

Tess needs very patient and understanding owners who will take their time with her and help her grow in confidence, at a pace she is comfortable with.

She is an energetic girl who can become bored quite easily, so she will require a lot of physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy. She also loves her walks and, in true lab style, enjoys a dip in the water. Her favourite game is fetch and she would happily chase a tennis ball all day if given the chance!

Underneath her worries, there is a truly wonderful dog who, with time and patience, is sure to flourish in her new home.
