Star

Star is looking for an active and experienced Collie owner who is prepared to work on building her confidence. She will need a main door home with a private and secure garden, so she has her own outside area away from the things that make her anxious. She also needs an adult only home where she won’t have contact with younger children, but she could potentially live with another dog if introductions go well.

Star is a shy girl who is very sweet and affectionate around people that she knows well. She is very nervous around new people, particularly men, so needs a dedicated person who can work on her socialisation at a pace she is comfortable with. Star has a lot of energy and likes to be active as much as possible. She would suit living in a more rural area where she can enjoy hill walking, and she can keep her distance from all the people and frightening sounds found in the city. Star is a very playful girl who loves her toys, and especially enjoys chasing after a tennis ball. She has made a few doggy friends while staying with us, and enjoys meeting up with them for a walk along the beach.
