Iris is looking for a patient owner who are committed to working on her confidence. She will greatly benefit by going along to training classes to help with her basic training. She will require a garden so she has a safe space to enjoy outdoors and will like company for most of the day. Iris is looking to be the only pet but may be able to live with dog savvy teenagers.

Iris is a nervous soul who has sadly had an unsettled time in her short life and does lack in basic training. She finds the outside world quite scary and is sensitive to noises, particularly traffic, so will require a home in a quiet area with a very committed owner who are willing to build her confidence at a pace she is comfortable with. She hasn’t felt ready to go for long walks but does still need to be kept stimulated so she doesn’t become bored.

Iris LOVES sniffing so would thoroughly enjoy an activity such as scent work where she can put her curious nose to good use. She does enjoy human contact, is incredibly affectionate and likes to curl up beside you in her cosy bed for a tummy tickle.
